1.5 years ago I came to Montenegro. It's no secret that despite the fact that this is a coffee country, the coffee here has a taste familiar to the local population, but extremely specific to foreigners. At that moment there were a lot of expats, you can imagine!
My wife Valeria flatly refused to leave her hometown and move to another country due to completely obvious reasons - there were no conditions and means of living. And then I started to think that I need to stop thinking about being hired somewhere, and it’s just the moment to start my own business…
The idea of creating a coffee shop was not that new to me - even in her youth, my Mom dreamed of creating her own, but due to various circumstances this dream did not have to come true.
So that's how it all began: step by step. I bought my first coffee machine (by the way, we now keep it as a rarity - we’ll leave it with the team as a souvenir). I found a place on Olive street - a street dotted with olive trees. Then I called the guests - and they came. And after that they came again. And then - again. And one day the door opened and my wife came in.
This is how Olivȧ Coffee was created. In the name of love and in love.
Let’s not talk about how much soul and effort have been and are being invested daily by me and the team into this project, you all already know. You are always welcome in Olivá Coffee
